of the top 10 places to ride in the USA!

The area is located on a hilly peninsula reaching into beautiful Fontana Lake, at the base of the Great
Smoky Mountains. The four long main trails at Tsali wind along the lake shore and onto the wooded,
steep interior ridge lines, and many connector trails, gravel roads and extension trails make rides at
Tsali even longer, more scenic, and more fun!

Lake Fontana looks like a river with high banks

Tsali was FUN and FAST this time around. Lake
Fontana was on its lowest due to the serious drought
punishing Wester NC area. It was a sad view to see
but It was a magnificent view ,never the less.
In fact the lack of water had bring the Lake to 30 or 40
feet below it normal. This allowed us to explorer
some of the high rising land fingers that the lake has.
Any other time this protuberance would be only
islands , to be reach by boat alone . We were able to
ride our bikes to them.
