Bahia Honda (Spanish for; "Deep Bay").
The channel between the old and new Bahia Honda
bridges is one of the deepest natural channels in the
Florida Keys. Bahia Honda is unique among other
islands in the Keys because it has extensive sandy
beaches and deep waters close enough offshore to
provide exceptional swimming and snorkeling.

Little island about 1/2 of mile away and We head up
and Kayak to it...Our own Desert island.

THE PLACE WAS FANTASTIC...
The weather was sunny and warm,the sky was blue and great white clouds were moving fast from the
sea. The ocean was green and clear...And We had our own island. What else would You want?
OK.Ok...We forfeit the Margaritas :)
This was some of the best Sea Kayaking out there.
