Mt Adams
Mount Olympus is the highest peak in the Olympic Mountain Range . Despite it's low altitude, It is
heavily glaciated due to it's close proximity to the Pacific Ocean. Precipitation in the nearby Hoh Rain
Forest ranges from 140 to 167 inches-- 12 to 14 feet-- every year, which translates into a lot of snowfall
on Olympus.

Located in the center of Olympic National Park, Mount Olympus is also quite remote, and requires a long
approach via the Hoh River Trail, a 17-mile each-way excursion through one of the wettest places on
earth...As we found out.
HERE IS OUR ROUTE; Across the Blue glacier (no need to rope here
under good conditions). Rope up at the Base of the Snow Dome and
start climb a 30/35 degree slope. Take a hike across the top of the
Dome-pretty flat, watch up for crevasses- Cross the Bergschrund and
up to the summit.

and then We could see the Mountain
AWESOME pictures of Marie and Mo as
they climb the Snow dome above the rain
clouds and clear sunshine in the sky. You
can see the 7,100 feet summit of Mount

In Mountaineering going down
the Mountain is not the easy
part. After carefully and detailed
effort We reach the End of the
Blue Glacier at 1:00PM and We
could finally take off our
Crampons and relax. GOOD
CLIMB.
