TRIP ITINERARY AT GLANCE
TRIP DATES: From August 18th to August 26th.
SUNDAY AUGUST 19th
OLYMPUS
-Early start on Sunday AM
-From Aberdeen to Hoh rain forest(about 2  1/2 hours drive)
-Get in the Hoh  River Trail Head and hike 9 miles along the Hog River
and through the Rain forest to "Olympus ranger Station Campsites"
-Our Olympic NP permit # 99787
MONDAY AUGUST 20th
OLYMPUS
-From "Olympus ranger Station Campsites" to The Blue Glaciers Campsite
4,200ft (this is a 9 miles and 3800 ft elevation gain)
-Need to prepare all our Climbing gear and get to bed early.
TUESDAY AUGUST 21st
OLYMPUS
-Alpine start. (2 or 3 AM)
-Climbing up to the Summit of Mt Olympus(7,965 ft)on the Blue Glacier
Route.
-After the Summit We are going down to Blue Glacier Meadows and pick
our tents up.
-Hike 8 miles to Olympic Ranger Station Campsites/Lewis Meadows.
-Ranger Station Campsites/Lewis Meadows
WEDNESDAY AUGUST 22rd
OLYMPUS/RAINIER
-From Olympic ranger Station Campsites/Lewis Meadows hike 7 miles to
Hoh Rain forest and out of the Olympic range back to Seattle
-Should be arriving at the Seattle Airport between 3 and 4PM
-At the airport We will  drop  any climber that was on the trip just for the
Mt Olympus part of the trip.
-We will pick at the Airport any new climber(Stacy R.) joining us for the
Mount Rainier part of the trip
-Re-supply
-Drive from Seattle to Paradise (about 90 minutes)
-Spend the Night at a local hotel
THURSDAY AUGUST 23rd
RAINIER
-Early AM start from Paradise(5,200ft) to Camp Muir(10,300ft)
-From Camp Muir to Ingrands Flats(11000ft)
We will spend the night at the Flats(?)
FRIDAY AUGUST 24th
RAINIER
-Alpine start.
-From Ingrands Flats to Mt rainier summit(14,410ft)
-After the Summit We are going back to the Flats and pick our camp.Then
We are going down to Paradise
-Spending the Night at a local hotel
SATURDAY AUGUST 25th
RAINIER
-From Paradise to Seattle
-From Seat-Tac to CLT

The Blue Glacier Route is
very straight fore across the
main Glacier and beside the
Rock wall that sustain the
Huge Snow Dome,about 40
degrees slope. Hike up top
of the dome across the
Glacier the summit will be
visible on your right...the
Blue glacier fall will be on
your farther left. The route
take You between the two
rock spurs on your Left(the
needle hole). You will have
to deal with a huge
crevasses  before this gap.
The traverse of this
Crevasses is the more
technical part of the route.
To reach the summit some
scrabble class 4 will be
need it.
In the event that We,as a group can not be in the Position to Climb MOUNT RAINIER We will
climb our alternative Mountain; MOUNT BAKER 's COLEMAN GLACIER ROUTE or MOUNT
SHUKSAN.
